Find something to use up that has been loitering in your home for too long. Maybe a less liked toiletry product, an ingredient in your panty or maybe a craft supply item… Use your imagination.

In the move I discovered I had 5 different things of deodorant. They are now lined up on my dresser and I am going to finish them all before I buy anymore. 2 down. (One finished, the other one smelled awful so I threw it out–I don’t know if it went bad or if it always smelled like that, but I see why I didn’t use it!) I feel like this is a longer term use it up, but at least I know I won’t go buy another one when I start running low.
Working on apple cider as well. We made some hard cider, but it’s too dry. (Thus ignored in back of fridge). We made some non-hard that’s too sweet so we were ignoring it also. I decided there is an obvious solution: Cold evenings I’m trying to remember to mix them and heat them and have a warm cup of spiced cider before I sleep. Almost done…..one or two cups left. That’ll be a lot of space back.

I gave a new bottle of body wash to granddaughter after she gave it the sniff test. She liked the smell, I don’t. It’s been hanging under the sink for far too long.

Like Kayote, I just today finished up a deodorant, and tossed a claggy one that didn’t smell so good.
