Well where did that month go. Actually where did last week go. Sorry I dropped off the radar, it was Thursday before I realised that I had forgotten about the mini missions. I hope you all managed to find things to declutter without my help.
Today I would like to suggest you find an item in your closet that you haven’t worn for a while and make a point of wearing it this week. Or at least trying it on to see if you actually like it and if is worth keeping. If the answers to those questions is no then out it goes.

Thanks to Brenda’s comment about keeping track of number of items decluttered, I’m happy to report that I started doing the same. This month so far I have gotten rid of 40 items.
Decided to get rid of 2 living room chairs, ottoman & bar stool this week.
Decided to have a garage sale as a way to help my daughter’s family declutter, they seem willing to get rid of things for a sale but not so willing to give things away. They brought over a truck load yesterday, now my garage seems packed to the seams.

Calla, you are ahead of me this month already!!! And I am envious of all the furniture you eliminated!!! I Still have some antiques to sell but no outlet. Today I learned of a website that is more localized to advertise on, so hoping I can get things listed soon with results.
Congrats on getting your daughter involved!!
I haven’t been commenting the last few posts but still enjoy reading the responses!!

I have been tracking my declutter items and am at 29 – that will include a too small dress in my closet (average of 1 per day)! I got stuck on mounted photos I created in college photography class. Must scan or take pictures first then see if mounts can be reused.

I have a blouse all ready to take to the thrift shop and also a Christmas tablecloth. With Mom in a rehab facility for physical therapy due to her fall, the list of items being decluttered has dropped.

Your Mom is most important. Sorry to hear about her fall.
Deb J says
Yes, Pat, she is. She is doing well so that’s good.

I call that a ‘last chance wear’ when I try one more time, to see if it should stay in my wardrobe.
I’m proud to say that everything in my wardrobe I wear – I didn’t know so many people couldn’t say the same!
